What does USAIPools do well?
USAIPools is quick and simple, and it sells to contractors as well as real estate agents and homeowners. From its homepage, checked November 3, 2026: It is upfront about limits: its FAQ says the AI can make mistakes and the pool may come out a slightly different size, shape or angle than you placed it, and each retry uses one render.
- Enter an address and it pulls a live satellite image, use Street View, upload a backyard photo, or upload a photo of an existing pool to restyle it.
- You draw where the pool goes, choose rectangle, oval, kidney, L-shape or freeform, add a round spa, and pick a compact, patio or resort-size deck. The AI renders it "exactly where you placed it", matched to the photo's lighting.
- Relight a render for day, sunset or night, with underwater lights at night.
- You get a before and after image, an animated before and after GIF and a share link. Designs are saved under My designs.
- It says a render usually takes under a minute.
- An Android app is live on Google Play, and iOS is listed as coming soon.
- Three renders come with an email signup and no credit card, one set per person, device and network.
What is PoolQuote?
PoolQuote is visual quote software with a built-in quote CRM for US pool builders. It does not do scheduling, invoicing or job management. A project starts with a customer name and a property address. You add phone photos, send the homeowner a link to upload their own, or attach satellite and Street View images. From there: Concept images are not measurements or engineering, and an approval in PoolQuote is not a signed contract or a collected deposit.
- concept images show your catalogue products (finishes, decks, spas) on that property
- a to-scale 2D site plan fills the quote's measurements, with a 3D view of the same design
- you build up to five priced options, A to E, from your catalogue and packages, and each line shows its working, such as "720 sq ft × $12 = $8,640"
- the homeowner opens one link, compares options, likes a design, asks a question, requests a change or approves
- opens, reading time, questions and approvals land on the project, and follow-ups come due on the date you set

Where USAIPools is the better pick
- You want a quick pool picture to text a lead, and you price the job somewhere else.
- You want to start from an address before you've visited, with nothing else to set up.
- You're a real estate agent showing a listing's pool potential. USAIPools has a page for that; PoolQuote is for pool builders.
- You want the lowest monthly cost. Contractor is $79 against PoolQuote Base at $99.
Where PoolQuote is the better pick
- PoolQuote draws your catalogue items, so the finish in the image is the finish on the quote line. It can still differ from the real product, which is why images are labelled concepts.
- Each option has its own images and total, so the homeowner can see what the difference between two totals buys.
- The site plan is drawn to scale, and its measurements feed the quote. A quantity the plan doesn't have stays marked "Waiting for a quantity" until someone enters it.
- You see when the link was opened, how long the homeowner spent reading, which option they looked at most and any question they asked.
Worked example: a 16 × 32 pool with two options
Sample Pool Company (fictional) quotes 12 Palm Ave (fictional). The pool is 16 × 32 inside a 28 × 44 deck area, so the deck is 28 × 44 − 16 × 32 = 1,232 − 512 = 720 sq ft. In USAIPools, the salesperson enters the address, draws a rectangle, adds the round spa and a patio deck, and texts the before and after image. The price goes out separately, in a PDF or another tool. In PoolQuote, the same visit produces two options on one link: The coping runs the pool's perimeter, 2 × (16 + 32) = 96 ft. Sample Pool Company's prices are made up to show the arithmetic, not market rates. On the homeowner's options board, Option B reads "Differs: Raised spa, LED pool lights", so the homeowner can see that the spa and the lights make up the $17,270 between the totals.
- Pool package, 1 × $48,000. Option A: $48,000. Option B: $48,000.
- Travertine deck, 720 sq ft × $12. Option A: $8,640. Option B: $8,640.
- Coping, 96 LF × $35. Option A: $3,360. Option B: $3,360.
- Pool handrail, 1 × $850 ("Included because the design has entry steps"). Option A: $850. Option B: $850.
- Raised spa, 1 × $14,500. Option A: . Option B: $14,500.
- LED pool lights, 2 × $1,385. Option A: . Option B: $2,770.
- Total. Option A: $60,850. Option B: $78,120.
- 10% deposit to begin. Option A: $6,085. Option B: $7,812.
Can you use both?
Yes. Some builders text a USAIPools render to a new lead before the first visit, then send a PoolQuote proposal once they've measured. Nothing moves between them: USAIPools images are pictures, and PoolQuote builds its own from your catalogue.
Does USAIPools send quotes?
Its pages don't list priced quotes for contractors to send (checked November 3, 2026). Its homeowner side lets a homeowner ask for quotes from local pool builders from a render, and its Agency plan lists "Quotes from local pool builders for your clients".
Is PoolQuote an AI pool visualizer?
It makes AI concept images, but they sit inside a quote: each image belongs to an option with priced lines from your catalogue.
Which is cheaper?
USAIPools Contractor is $79 a month as of November 2026. PoolQuote's plans are on the pricing page, starting at Base $99 a month. Compare what each plan includes for your volume: USAIPools counts renders a day, PoolQuote counts image credits, aerial-view credits and published projects a month.
Can I try either before paying?
USAIPools gives three renders with an email signup. PoolQuote signup is a paid plan checkout; book a demo to see it on one of your own jobs first.
