How does the AI pool visualizer work?
Start from photos of the yard: your own phone photos, or ones the homeowner sends with a request link. A project holds up to 5. Satellite and Street View captures attach to the project as reference views. Then pick the products yourself, or let AI designs pick them.
- Your picks: choose the pool and add-ons from your catalogue and render a design on the photo.
- AI designs: ask for 1 to 4 designs on one photo. The AI picks each design's products from your own catalogue, and you can give it up to 600 characters of instructions, such as "keep the patio, add a spa".
- Every view in a series uses the same product lines, so a second angle shows the same pool.

What does each AI pool image cost?
One generated image uses one image credit, and each AI design uses one too. When a render fails, its credit comes back automatically. If a finished image isn't right, report a problem with it, and an approved review returns the credit once. Replace image renders the same view again for 1 credit. The pricing page lists the image credits each plan includes.
Why put the picture inside the quote?
A pool picture on its own still leaves the price for another document. In PoolQuote each design belongs to an option with priced lines from your catalogue, and the homeowner's proposal has a Today and Design switch on their own photo. With two or three options, the homeowner can see what the difference between two totals buys.
How accurate are AI pool images?
They show a design direction. An AI image has no measurements, and the product in the picture can differ from the real one, which is why PoolQuote labels them concept images. For sizes and quantities, PoolQuote pairs them with a to-scale 2D site plan whose measurements feed the quote, and a 3D view of the same design. Confirm measurements on site before building.
Worked example: two AI designs on one photo
Sample Pool Company, the yard and the prices are fictional.
- The salesperson uploads 3 phone photos of the backyard and asks AI designs for 2 designs on the widest one, with the note "rectangular pool, keep the lawn on the left".
- That uses 2 image credits. One design comes back with a plain deck, the other with a raised spa.
- The salesperson builds an option from each: Option A, a 16 by 32 pool with a travertine deck, at $60,850, and Option B, adding the raised spa and LED pool lights, at $78,120.
- The homeowner opens one link, switches between Today and Design on each option, and approves Option B.
Can homeowners use the visualizer themselves?
PoolQuote is for pool builders. Homeowners see the designs you publish on their proposal link, and from there they can like a design, ask a question, request a change or approve an option.
