Pool builder software compared

Pool builder software falls into four groups: all-in-one suites such as ProDBX and Poologics, field service tools such as Jobber and Housecall Pro, design software such as Pool Studio, and sales tools such as PoolQuote, visual quote software with a built-in quote CRM. Which you need depends on whether your gap is running the job or winning it. Prices and features below come from each vendor's own pages, checked November 3, 2026.

What does pool builder software need to do?

List what you need before you compare tools. A pool build has two halves, and some tools cover both while others cover one well.

  • The sale: leads, the site visit, the design, priced options, the homeowner's decision and follow-up.
  • The job: crew and phase scheduling, purchase orders, change orders, invoices, payments and job costing.

All-in-one suites: ProDBX and Poologics

ProDBX covers CRM, estimating with live supplier pricing, project management and accounting for pool and fence contractors. Its pricing page lists Basic at $19, Essential at $59 and Professional at $99 per user a month, with lower prices in a new customer's first six months and a five-user minimum on Essential and Professional. Poologics covers CRM, estimates, projects, permits, inspections and warranties. On October 27, 2026 its pricing page listed $279 a month billed annually, or $329 billed monthly, for up to 20 users; on November 3 it showed no price we could read. A suite fits when you want one system for sales, production and the books.

Field service tools: Jobber and Housecall Pro

Jobber and Housecall Pro run home service work: quotes, scheduling, invoicing and payments. Jobber's pool page is written for service and maintenance, and its quotes carry images you add, with richer visuals on its Grow plan. Housecall Pro's plans start at $59 a month billed annually for one user, and its Max plan, $299 billed annually, adds a sales proposal tool with customized images and side-by-side comparisons. Neither lists images generated of the pool on the customer's own yard.

Design software: Pool Studio

Pool Studio, from Structure Studios, is 3D pool design software with a library of 2,924 3D objects, presentation stills up to 8K and what it calls build-ready plans. As of November 2026 it costs $147 per user a month, or $125 a month on an annual membership, plus a one-time $95 setup fee, and it runs on Windows. It fits when the detailed design is what you sell.

Sales tools: PoolQuote

PoolQuote is visual quote software with a built-in quote CRM for US pool builders. It does not do scheduling, invoicing or job management. It covers the sale: concept images of your catalogue products on the customer's photo, a to-scale 2D site plan with a 3D view, up to five priced options on one link, and the homeowner's opens, questions and approval on the project. Plans start at Base $99 a month, and the pricing page lists them all.
