Pentair Pool Builder alternatives for pool builders

As of October 2026, Pentair Pool Builder, Pentair's business management platform for pool builders, has no listing in the US App Store, and pentair.com/poolbuilder redirects to Pentair's main pool and spa page. Builders who want the same mix of estimating, job scheduling and customer updates can look at Poologics or ProDBX. PoolQuote and Structure Studios' Pool Studio cover the design and quote side of a sale, not the build.

What is Pentair Pool Builder?

Pentair, which makes pool and spa equipment, built Pentair Pool Builder for pool builders. Its brochure, dated July 2022 and still hosted on pentair.com, calls it an integrated business management platform designed for pool builders, with web and mobile apps that sync across devices. The brochure mentions introductory trial offers and pricing plans for Pentair builders but lists no prices.

What does Pentair Pool Builder do well?

It puts the sales pipeline, the estimate and the build in one platform, with a branded app for the homeowner. Pentair's brochure lists these features, and a Pentair sale sheet for homeowners adds a time-lapse video of the build from start to finish:

  • an estimating tool for shareable quotes and real-time budgets
  • pipeline management that tracks sales leads by area or by associate
  • job scheduling, rescheduling and tracking
  • draw schedules, with invoice status through a QuickBooks integration
  • change orders with real-time approvals, and a build plan
  • automated notices to the team when a phase is scheduled, started or completed
  • remote monitoring through a live view camera at the job site
  • Pool Concierge, a customer app branded with the builder's logo, for sharing inspiration galleries, designs and estimates, 1:1 messaging and schedule sharing

What is its status in October 2026?

On October 27, 2026 we checked three Pentair sources. The US App Store has no listing for Pentair Pool Builder. The address pentair.com/poolbuilder, which the brochure prints, redirects to Pentair's main pool and spa page. Pentair's app download page lists the Pentair Pool and Pentair Pro apps and does not list Pool Builder. If your company uses Pentair Pool Builder, ask your Pentair representative about your account and how to export your customers, jobs and documents before you change systems.

Who might want something other than Pentair Pool Builder?

The right replacement depends on which part of the platform you used most.

  • Builders who ran jobs, draws and change orders in it need another construction management suite.
  • Builders whose homeowners decide from pictures of their own yard may want a visual quote tool alongside their operations software.
  • Teams that design in 3D and produce construction plans may want dedicated pool design software.
  • Builders who relied on the Pool Concierge app may want a tool that keeps the homeowner up to date through a portal or a shared link.

Poologics: pool construction management

Poologics describes itself as business software for pool professionals, a web-based platform that runs on any computer or mobile device. Its feature list covers CRM and lead management, estimates and proposals with a price book, project management and scheduling, document storage for contracts and change orders, project finances and budgets, permits and inspections, punch lists, warranties, and connections to QuickBooks and Google Mail and Calendar. Its pricing page, checked in October 2026, lists $279 a month billed annually ($3,348 a year) or $329 billed monthly, for up to 20 users, with human onboarding. Poologics also publishes a page for builders moving from Pentair Pool Builder.

ProDBX: CRM, estimating, projects and accounting

ProDBX calls itself all-in-one construction software for pool and fence companies. Its site covers lead capture, estimates with live supplier pricing (its pricing page lists SCP/Poolcorp and Heritage Pool Supply integrations), automated follow-up emails and texts, scheduling of jobs, crews and project phases, invoices, payments and documents, and a crew view for schedules and progress photos. It ships pool pricebooks and proposal, contract and checklist templates, and a customer portal on its Enterprise plan. Plans are priced per user per month, from Basic to Enterprise, with minimum user counts on the higher plans and introductory prices for new customers during the first six months; see prodbx.com/pricing for current numbers. ProDBX also publishes a page for moving from Pentair Pool Builder.

PoolQuote: visual quotes with a quote CRM

PoolQuote is visual quote software with a built-in quote CRM for US pool builders. It covers the sale: concept images of your catalogue products on the customer's own property, a to-scale 2D site plan and 3D view, up to five priced options from your catalogue, and one proposal link where the homeowner compares the options, likes a design, asks a question or approves. Opens, reading time, questions and approvals land on the project, and follow-ups come due on a date. It is not a like-for-like replacement for Pentair Pool Builder: it does not do scheduling, invoicing or job management, it has no job-site camera, and it does not track draws. A builder who ran the build in Pentair Pool Builder would use it next to a construction management suite. The pricing page lists its current plans.

Structure Studios Pool Studio: 3D pool design

Pool Studio is 3D design software from Structure Studios for pool designers, landscape designers, pool builders and outdoor living professionals. It designs custom pools, spas, water features and outdoor living spaces in 2D and 3D, and Structure Studios says it generates build-ready construction plans from the same design. It calculates square footage and other measurements and builds client presentations with photos up to 8K and a video storyboard. It runs on Windows computers with a dedicated graphics card; for Version 4 the system requirements page lists Windows 11 and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 or greater. Licenses are per seat. Its pricing page, checked in October 2026, lists $147 per user per month, or $125 a month with an annual membership, plus a one-time $95 setup fee, and you can try it for 30 days without paying.

How do you choose a Pentair Pool Builder alternative?

List what you used in Pentair Pool Builder, then check each candidate against these questions on its own pages or in a demo.

  • Which part needs replacing: the sales pipeline, the estimate, the build schedule, draws and invoices, or the customer app?
  • Can you export your customers, jobs and documents from Pentair Pool Builder, and can the new tool import them?
  • Does it connect to QuickBooks, if your draws and invoices live there?
  • How does the homeowner see the offer: a PDF, a portal, or a link with pictures of their own yard?
  • Do quantities come from a measured plan, or does someone type them by hand?
  • How many users do you need, and is pricing per user or per company?
  • Does it run on the computers your team already has? Some design software needs Windows and a dedicated graphics card.
  • What does onboarding include, and can you try it on one of your own jobs before you commit?
  • Will you run one system, or a quote tool next to an operations suite?

Try PoolQuote on your next quote

If the part you need is the visual sale, select Get started and send your first proposal link from a real property. If you need the build side too, keep or choose a construction management suite for scheduling and invoicing and use PoolQuote for the quote. The pool quote software page shows how a quote comes together, or you can book a demo.
